Machine Info

• New Cost $500,000

• Made in Pennsylvania

• Harvest capacity of 60 Tons/Hour

• Harvests a 5 foot bed of tomatoes at 2.4 mph.

• The whole plant is harvested, vines are sent through 2 shakers where tomatoes fall onto a cross belt

• Cross belts take tomatoes through 2 Optical Color Sorters, designed to remove green tomatoes, rocks, and dirt clods

• Requires a crew of 2-3 hand sorters pull out any plant or dirt debris

• Tomatoes are loaded into the trailer- They are thick skinned and do not break inside the trailer

• Each Delivery Trailer holds 23 Tons of processing tomatoes

• Trailers are trucked to 3 regional Red Gold Facilities where they will be processed within 24 Hrs.
